Elizabeth Randall, broker-owner of Elizabeth Randall Realty in Adams has been named the 2000 Berkshire County REALTOR® of the Year. Each year the members of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors® nominate their selection for this honor, highlighting those members who demonstrate Realtor® sprint, professionalism and volunteer commitment. Notably, Randall serves as the Board’s 2000 President, having been elected by the Realtor® members to lead the association in October of 1999.

REALTOR® Accomplishments:

Elizabeth began her real estate career in 1976, belonging to the National, Massachusetts and Berkshire Realtor® Trade Associations. Elizabeth's volunteer commitment to the Berkshire Association has spanned many years, having begun in 1984 as the first President of the North Council, and her subsequent service as a director of the council and on the Realtors® main board of directors for many years following.

Elizabeth is a dedicated member of the Professional Standards Committee, and serves on several other committees, in addition to her service as a voting member of the Berkshire County Multiple Listing Service. As a Director of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® Board of Directors and as Delegate voting member of the National Association of Realtors®, Elizabeth has traveled extensively this year.

In addition to presidential and director meetings throughout Massachusetts, she was also the Berkshire Board representative at national meetings in Florida and Washington D.C.

Educational Acheivements:

During her real estate career, Elizabeth has earned the Graduate REALTOR Institute Designation (GRI), and the Certified Buyer Representative Designation (CBR). Elizabeth Randall Realty offers both buyer and seller agency.

Civic Contributions:

In addition to all of her contributions to the Berkshire County Board of Realtors®, Elizabeth is also an active volunteer for the Adams Agricultural Fair, and handles jobs both big and small, from serving as the publicity director, to participating in set up, clean up, hand works and more. Elizabeth is also a member of the Franklin Chapter Eastern Star in Adams, serves on the board for the North Adams Regional Hospital, is a member of the Alumni Association of MCLA, as well as the Embroiders Guild and St. Mark’s Church Quilter’s Guild.

Family History:

Married to Robert Randall for 37 years in 2000, Elizabeth has three children, Carolee Dalton, Kathleen Santeufemio and Mark Randall, as well as three beautiful grandchildren, Megan, Mitchell and Isabella.
